About Advice & Support
Since 2013 we have been developing this service to run alongside Tower Hamlets Foodbank. We sit down with every person who comes to our foodbank, to listen to their story and understand why they are facing crisis in their life.
Child Poverty
Nearly half of the children in Tower Hamlets live in poverty – the highest rate in the UK. That’s why one of our key partners is the Child Poverty Action Group. Together, we work to help local parents facing crisis by having an emergency welfare rights advice service at our foodbank. This project helps people and informs CPAG’s policy and campaigning work.
How you can help
Want to help the local community? There are different ways to get involved.

Donate money
We know that not everyone has the time to volunteer with us or organise a food collection. You can help us support the people in crisis by donating money today.

Donate time
We have a very small team, so any time you can give will make a difference – from helping at our office, assisting at our foodbank, or sorting food at our warehouse. We couldn’t do it without you.
